Items sold individually are counted. For weighed goods, scales measure the quantity. Selecting the product and its price by weight is therefore part of preparing the sale.

The seller finds the item in the touchscreen catalogue. Products and prices are shared with iotill Cloud and the shop’s connected equipment.
The amount calculated from the weight
With compatible checkout scales, weighing calculates the price added to the receipt. Cloud Scale performs these steps in its built-in POS application.
Payment and tracking
Payment uses the selected equipment. Sales feed into iotill Cloud; Analytics adds analysis by product, category and period.
The order recorded before weighing
With iotill ODS, customers order at the till or through a compatible online service. Requested products and weights form the preparation list.
The actual prepared weight
The team prepares and weighs products on Cloud Scale or scales connected to the till. The final amount reflects the actual quantities prepared, according to the configured ordering and payment workflow.
Preparation progress visible in the shop
With ODS, progress confirmed by the preparation team appears at the till and in iotill Cloud. Sales staff can check what is ready to answer customers.
