USEFUL ANSWERS

Before you
get started.

Plan my equipment ↗
Can a ticket be printed when preparation is complete on the KDS?
Yes. When you confirm preparation on iotill KDS, a ticket can print automatically. You and your reseller choose which documents to print and when. If several stations are working on the order, confirmation at one station does not necessarily mean everything is ready.
Can a label be printed for each product?
Yes. Each product can have a label with its name, quantity, options and meal. If a tray or bag has been assigned to it, that reference can also appear.
Can I choose between 57 and 80 mm?
Yes. Choose 57 or 80 mm to suit your compatible printer. Both formats support full order tickets and individual labels. Compact mode shortens the ticket while keeping the same information.
How can I distinguish a meal item from the same product ordered separately?
The meal name is printed on the label. A drink included in a Burger Meal is therefore distinct from the same drink ordered separately, labelled À LA CARTE. If a tray or bag number is provided, it appears separately.
Are the labels self-adhesive?
That depends on your equipment and the roll you use. A standard receipt printer produces paper slips. To stick labels onto packaging, ask your reseller about a compatible printer and adhesive rolls.
What is a KDS?
A KDS, or Kitchen Display System, is a preparation screen used in the kitchen. iotill KDS centralises orders from tills, kiosks, mobile devices and online ordering.
What information does the preparation team see?
The team sees current orders, their progress, changes, special requests and associated notes.
